UFC 244: Masvidal vs. Diaz is an upcoming mixed martial arts pay-per-view event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that is planned to take place on November 2, 2019 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.

Two of the truest fighters in mixed martial arts will finally face off as Nate Diaz takes on Jorge Masvidal in the five-round main event of UFC 244 . Fan favorites for their no nonsense, take no prisoners style in the Octagon, welterweights Diaz and Masvidal come into this highly-anticipated bout on the heels of recent wins that have them showing prime form. Plus, two of the UFC’s top young stars collide when British standout Darren Till makes his middleweight debut against former Ultimate Fighter winner Kelvin Gastelum.

A welterweight bout between Jorge Masvidal and former UFC Lightweight Championship challenger and The Ultimate Fighter 5 lightweight winner Nate Diaz is expected to headline the event. After his UFC 241 win against former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, Diaz proclaimed himself the "baddest motherfucker in the game" and issued a challenge to Masvidal. That led up to the booking of this fight and UFC President Dana White also confirmed that a baddest motherfucker (‘BMF’) belt will be delivered to the winner of this bout.

Krzysztof Jotko was scheduled to face Edmen Shahbazyan at the event. However, Jotko was removed from the pairing in early October for undisclosed reasons and replaced by Brad Tavares.

UFC 244 is shaping up to be a beast of a card already, but WWE legend and highest-earning actor in the world The Rock is set to take it up a notch.

Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz are going to meet in a welterweight clash at Madison Square Garden to headline the event with the one-time ‘Bad Motherf*cker’ title on the line.
