UFC 192 - LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT

On October 3, 2015 the UFC brings us the LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT, this event will be the fourth time that the promotion has hosted in Houston, and the first since UFC 166 in 2013; between current champion Daniel Cormier and top contender Alexander Gustafsson. It was initially linked as the event headliner for UFC 191. However, the bout was postponed to this event as a result of Cormier's knee injury. Additionally we also will see Anthony Hamilton who was expected to face Derrick Lewis at the event, however, Hamilton was pulled from the bout and replaced by Viktor Pešta.
The co-main event is expected to feature Leslie Smith, expected to face Raquel Pennington. However, Smith was forced to pull out of the event due to injury and Pennington was rebooked against a separate opponent at another event.

UFC light heavyweight champ Daniel Cormier edged Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 192 and retained his title. In the co-main event Ryan Bader decisioned Rashad Evans.
Daniel Cormier took a split decision over Alexander Gustafsson in a blood-soaked five-round war at UFC 192 in Houston, Texas. He won 48-47, 49-46 and 47-48 in a bitterly contested bout.
